One of the curricular competencies for CLC is for us to know strategies for personal well-being and work-life balance. Mental health is necessary to understand and explore because it affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. The essential question that frames out our learning is: "What can we learn about ourselves through observing the experience of others?"
